Our baby boy is 2 months! It’s crazy to compare the one month photo to now. His face has filled out, he’s longer and he’s just about grown out of his newborn clothes. So many changes in a short time! He’s starting to talk, making cute coo-ing sounds. My heart melts when he reacts to our voices and faces. I’ve started to do peek-a-boo with him and his face lights up!

Matías has been busy since his one month post. He went to his first Timbers game and also traveled to Eugene to watch the European teams Paris Saint-Germain vs Inter Milan at Autzen Stadium. He got to meet his great-grandparents and his Aunt Mary among many others at his Baby Shower. He slept through most of it, but he was so thankful for all the attention and gifts :) Another special moment was when we met Micah, the son of my good friend, Angie. Angie, and I have known each other our whole lives, so how perfect that we both have baby boys less than a week apart. Instant friends!

One of the most exciting moments (for me at least) was the night when he slept for 7 hours and 15 minutes. It was glorious! He hasn’t hit that length again, but he’s more consistently sleeping at least 5-6 hours. It definitely has made my mornings feel a bit more rested and I can tell with him that he wakes up very happy and ready to start his day.
We can’t wait to see what is in store for the next month. Enjoy some outtakes from the photo shoot :)
