Almost every day I get asked how I’m handling the weather in Cariño/Galicia. I tell everyone that the weather here is very similar to the weather at home, so I’m used to it. Lately I’ve been saying that it gets much colder at home and it sometimes snows. The usual response is, “Oh no, it doesn’t snow here, we are near the ocean.” But to everyone’s surprise, we woke up this morning to the look of winter.
The stores have Holiday decorations up and out to sell. The main street in Cariño has lights strung across it. And now with a bit of snow (and mix of hail)…♪♪ It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas ♪♪
